Terms of Service
Last updated: August 20, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GetBetter (the "Service"), available at getbetter.live. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using GetBetter you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account and Sign-In
GetBetter uses passwordless sign-in. You can access your account with a one-time code sent to your email, or by signing in with a supported provider (Google, Discord, Steam, or Epic Games). You are responsible for keeping access to your email and any connected accounts secure, and for activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. Uploaded Replays
You retain ownership of the replay files and content you upload. You grant GetBetter a limited license to store, process, and analyze that content solely to provide the Service to you. Replay files may contain the in-game names of other players in your matches; you confirm you are entitled to upload them for analysis. You are responsible for only uploading replays of matches you participated in. GetBetter reads the replay files you provide and does not connect to, or retrieve data from, Rocket League, Psyonix, or Epic servers.
4. Credits and Paid Features
The Service is currently free to use. Analysis credits have no monetary value, are provided free of charge, and are non-transferable and non-refundable. We may change how the Service and credits work, including introducing paid features or paid credits in the future, with prior notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, upload unlawful content, attempt to disrupt the platform, or access it through automated means without our permission.
6. Intellectual Property and Trademarks
The Service, including its software, design, and the analyses we generate, is owned by GetBetter and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding. GetBetter is an independent, fan-made tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Epic Games, Inc. or Psyonix LLC. Rocket League is a trademark of Psyonix LLC. Portions of the materials used are trademarks and/or copyrighted works of Epic Games, Inc. All rights reserved by Epic. This material is not official and is not endorsed by Epic.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Coaching insights are generated with the help of automated and AI tools, are informational only, and we do not guarantee any particular improvement in performance.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetBetter is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination and Deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account and associated data through our Contact page. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state in which the Service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of your country of residence.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service, and continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to us through our Contact page.
Referral rewards
Rewards apply to newly created public accounts with an accepted invitation. The first completed replay analysis, or a useful partial analysis with structured coaching, qualifies under the initial offer. Signup must occur within 30 days of capture; accepted invitations do not expire. Inviter payouts use the UTC monthly allowance and excess rewards carry forward. Rewards are permanent. Duplicate accounts, self-invitations and abuse may lead to review or a reasoned reversal. A shared network alone is not grounds for rejection.
